SonicState presents IK's UNO Synth Pro

Learn what's inside and what's ahead for the all-analog synthesizer

Recently, Nick Batt of SonicState invited IK Multimedia Product Manager Enrico Dell'Aversana (known as DellA) to discuss UNO Synth Pro. In this episode of Sonic Lab, Nick and DellA talk about design and operation and test many of the sound-shaping features of IK's new analog synthesizer.

SonicState is a British network of websites catering to electronic musicians. Founded in 1995, SonicState is well established now as one of the top 10 destinations for musicians online with over 180K subscribers on YouTube.

Using both models of UNO Synth Pro to demonstrate, this video interview covers a range of topics, from architecture to sound creation to future updates. It's worthwhile viewing for all analog synth fans and should help those interested decide which model of UNO Synth Pro is right for them.

UNO Synth Pro - Presentation

With the UNO Synth Pro, I'm finding it's really speaking to me sonically. So far I've been very impressed with the sound of it.

The final question

Nick: "Do you think there's a possibility of having an editor?"

DellA: "Yes. There's a plan of updates, which covers, not only what people have asked for now, but also what we intended from the beginning.

"The plan was to release a librarian for all the presets, to be able to share and manage your presets. So, on top of that, we're going to add an editor as we did for the original UNO Synth."
