1x8 57 Champion 57-121
Based on the 1957 Fender Custom Champ with an 8" Weber® Special Design speaker featuring an Alnico Magnet, this amp gained fame through guitarists like Eric Clapton, who used it to record many hits.
1x12 EV Darkness 57-121
Dumble combo amplifiers, renowned for their exceptional tone and high price, are typically equipped with speakers specifically chosen to match their distinctive sound qualities. In this case, we have an open-back 1x12 cabinet with an Electro-Voice EVM12L speaker, providing a typically mid-focused tone suitable for blues, jazz, and other genres.
2x12 UK Alnico B 57-121
Based on the Celestion Blue mounted in a Vox AC30, this speaker—a favorite of Brian May—is known for a soft attack, warm lows, and still produces bright, bell-like upper mids.
2x12 UK Alnico G 57-441
Built with the Celestion Gold speaker in a Dr. Z Z Wreck, this is a more powerful version of the Blue, still featuring an Alnico magnet, and provides an extremely expressive voice that helps guitarists achieve great dynamic control.
4x10 59 Bman 57-87
This 4x10 Fender Bassman uses Jensen P10R Alnico speakers. These are known for their shimmering, throaty, and vibrant tone, which is characteristic of the Tweed era and influenced the development of British tones. The Bassman, initially designed for bass, gained popularity among guitarists due to its distinctive sound and power.
4x12 UK 100 57-121
Based on the Celestion G12K100 speaker installed in the Fender Metalhead MH-412 SL cabinet, this setup is ideal for high-gain amplifiers used in metal genres, where it's essential to produce a sound that cuts through complex and fast mixes.
4x12 UK Darkness 57-87
This IR was created using a MESA-Boogie 4x12 Rectifier Traditional Slant cabinet equipped with Celestion Black Shadow MC-90 speakers, renowned for their strong midrange and clear, yet controlled top end. It excels at cutting through the mix without being piercing, and is a favorite among lead guitarists for its 90 watts of headroom, tone, and dynamic response.
4x12 UK Fame 57-67
The Hiwatt HG412 cabinet, equipped with Fane Purpleback speakers, offers great versatility and can also handle heavy distortion. It's impressive how many albums and songs this speaker has contributed to.
4x12 UK Green 57-441
The Marshall 1960AX cabinet, featuring Celestion Greenback G12M speakers, has shaped the history of rock. The recipe is simple: a harmonic-rich sound that cuts through perfectly with any guitar and works with any amp EQ setting. With its unique edge-of-breakup tone and relatively low power handling, this is the sound of rock 'n' roll.
4x12 UK V1 57-87
The ENGL E412 Pro XXL cabinet is equipped with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. This setup is popular among metal guitarists because the aggressive, pronounced mids of these speakers perfectly enhance the “scooped” tones typical of the genre. Besides having a frequency profile that stands out in the mix, these speakers offer a tight low-end definition that keeps every riff clear.

How to Get the Free IRs
- Open the IK Product Manager and log in or create an account.
- Go to the Hardware tab, then TONEX Cab to install the Software editor.
- Once installed, click the Extras tab next to the TONEX Cab software to download the free IR pack.
- Connect your TONEX Cab and launch the editor to browse, demo, and load IRs into the 8 available slots.
