Guitarist and producer Pete Thorne puts TONEX Board through its paces in a new video, building a complete track around Jim Gaustad's Brown Sound Tone Models and exploring the Board's performance and routing capabilities.
Pete demonstrates how Preset, Scene, and Stomp modes make it easy to move between sounds and control individual effects live. Using Scenes, he switches effects, adds delay and octave processing, and even changes amp gain within a single preset.
He also dives into TONEX Board's flexible routing, splitting the signal after the amp and before the cabinet to feed a real guitar cabinet without speaker simulation while simultaneously sending the complete amp-and-cab sound through the main outputs to his recording setup.
"The flexible routing is really nice," Pete says, and after demonstrating TONEX Board with a real guitar cabinet, his verdict is simple: "It sounds great."
