Nick Bowcott from Sweetwater talks with Grady Champion, Dimebag Darrell's long-time guitar tech and demonstrates the sounds possible with the AmpliTube Dimebag Darrell CFH Collection. After playing a few riffs, you can immediately tell that this software "nails his tone, re-creating the amps, cabinets, and effects he used on the album that kick-started the groove metal revolution."
These simulations sound and feel like the real deal, thanks to IK's innovative Dynamic Interaction Modeling.
After testing out the sound, Nick has the chance to speak with one of Dimebag's closest companions and long-time guitar tech, Grady Champion, about the making of his iconic tone and what it was like working with IK to recreate it. Grady explains that he hopes to keep Dimebag's legacy alive as long as he can, and he hopes that this project can do that for him.
