He was particularly impressed by the extensive possibilities the Z-Tone feature offers for sculpting the tone of your guitar, the ease of use of the Amp out, plus the included, generous software bundle. You avoid the bother of a reamping box as the signal on this output is equipped so that you can connect it directly to a guitar amp. This is great as it allows you to record AmpliTube sounds on the guitar tracks quietly on your own and then take a notebook and AXE I/O to the rehearsal room, drive the "naked" tracks through a real amp, record it all and then get down to mixing it at home in your own environment...This works really well and you get spared the bother of a reamping box and the routing is really easy peasy."
